30 Minutes From Now is a free time calculator. It answers one narrow kind of question: what time will it be in a given number of minutes, and what time was it a given number of minutes ago.

The homepage answers this for 30 minutes from now. Separate pages cover 15, 40, 45 and 90 minutes, in both directions — from now, and ago.

Why We Built It

Anyone who has read a log line, an alert, a delivery estimate or a support ticket has done this arithmetic in their head and lost track halfway through, usually at the point where the hour changes. The tools that already existed for it were either buried under ads or asked you to type in the current time first.

We wanted the opposite: open the page, read the answer on one line, in your own time zone, with no account and no form to fill in.

How the Answers Are Calculated

Every calculation runs in your browser. The current time comes from the clock on your own device, and the time zone comes from your browser. Nothing you type or tap on a calculator page is sent to us, and we do not store it.

How Accurate the Answer Is

Answers are accurate to the minute. They depend entirely on the clock and time zone reported by the device you are using, so a device that is a few minutes out will produce an answer that is a few minutes out. Daylight saving time changes are handled by your browser's own time zone data.

If an answer ever looks wrong, tell us the URL, your time zone and what you expected — that is the fastest way for us to find the problem. Our contact details are on the Contact page.

What It Costs

Nothing. There is no account, no paywall and no limit on how many times you can use a calculator. The site may be supported by advertising.
