Privacy Policy
Effective date: 5 November 2026
Last updated: 5 November 2026
This policy explains what information 30 Minutes From Now (“30minutesfromnow.com”) collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to every page on this site.
1. The Short Version
The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser. The times you enter and the answers you see are never sent to us and are never stored by us. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name or address.
What we do collect is limited to ordinary server logs and, where applicable, cookies used by advertising partners. Those are described below.
2. Information You Give Us
The only time we receive personal information from you is when you choose to email us. We then hold your email address and whatever you write in the message, and we keep it only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any record we are required to keep.
3. Information Collected Automatically
Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard request data each time a page is served. This typically includes:
- the IP address making the request
- the browser and operating system in the request header
- the page requested and the page you came from
- the date and time of the request
This data is used to keep the site running, to diagnose faults and to prevent abuse. It is retained for [retention period] and is not used to build a profile of you.
4. Calculator Inputs
Nothing you type into a calculator on this site leaves your device. The calculation is performed locally by your browser, using your device's clock and time zone. We cannot see which intervals you looked up.
5. Cookies
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. This site itself does not set cookies to identify you or to remember what you looked up.
Cookies may be set by third parties whose services are used on this site, as described in section 6. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; the calculators will keep working, because they do not depend on cookies.
6. Third-Party Advertising
This site may be supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense, and we may use other third-party advertising networks in future.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at YourAdChoices.
- Google's own practices are described in its partner-sites policy.
Where required by law, we ask for your consent before advertising cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw that consent at any time through the consent notice on the site.
7. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- operate and maintain the site
- diagnose technical problems and fix incorrect answers
- serve advertising that keeps the site free
- respond to messages you send us
- comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
8. Sharing
We share information only with the service providers that make the site work — our hosting provider and our advertising partners — and only to the extent described in this policy. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct or delete it
- object to certain processing, including profiling for advertising
- withdraw consent you have previously given
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise any of these, email [[email protected]]. We respond within [response period]. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal basis for the processing described above is our legitimate interest in running and funding the site, and consent where consent is required for advertising cookies. If you are a California resident, you have the rights set out in the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and the right to delete; we do not sell personal information.
10. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International Transfers
Our hosting and advertising providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where that happens, they rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
12. Links to Other Sites
Our pages may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices; read their policies before using them.
13. Changes to This Policy
If we change how the site handles data, we update this page and the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be noted on the homepage for [notice period].
